Are we losing trust in each other and in our future? Evoking a sense of surveillance and distrust, 'Suspicious Minds' reflects on a nation increasingly consumed by paranoia and division.
Feelings of frustration, powerlessness and a loss of belonging are making us vulnerable to ‘us versus them’ stories, which turn us against each other. Social media is magnifying the loudest and most extreme voices. Ideology is becoming identity. A culture of othering, aversion, and moralisation poses a threat to the fabric of our society.
We can't go on together with suspicious minds. And we can't build our dreams, on suspicious minds.
